I agree that we need to become more progressive and stay on top of the Library 2.0. However, with the way the economy is going and the little money that is given to libraries these days, it will be hard to compete. I do believe this is a priority.
At the same time, I also understand that there are people who really struggle with the computer and find it difficult to maneuver around in it. We need to keep these people in mind as we progress and not leave them behind.

You'll be happy to know that this is a sentiment expressed by almost every one of the bloggers in our region, an indication that they value current library users. This bodes well for the traditional library users we serve to continue to get quality service in traditional ways.
